Privacy policy

This policy covers this website (leadlabinc.com) and the information you give us if you request a demo. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

Last updated: 28 August 2026.

The short version

We collect what you type into the demo-request form, plus basic technical information that comes with any web request. We use it to reply to you about LeadLab. We do not sell it, share it, add you to a mailing list, or use it for anything else. There are no advertising trackers on this site and no cookies.

Who we are

LeadLab operates this website. If you want to reach us about anything in this policy, use the demo-request form and say so in the message field. It reaches the same people. Send a request to see, correct or delete your information the same way.

What we collect when you request a demo

  • What you enter: your name, work email, company, a one-line description of what you sell, and which offering you are interested in. Team size, phone number and any message are optional, and we only have them if you provide them.
  • What comes with the request: your IP address, browser user-agent string, the referring page, and which page you submitted from.

Why we collect it

  • The form contents are used to reply to your enquiry and prepare for a conversation about whether LeadLab is a fit. Under GDPR this is processing necessary to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
  • IP address, user-agent and referrer are used to prevent automated spam submissions and to investigate abuse of the form. Our legitimate interest in keeping the service working. We also apply a rate limit per IP address for the same reason.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
  • We do not add you to a newsletter or marketing list. Requesting a demo is not a subscription.
  • We do not run advertising or analytics trackers on this site.
  • This site sets no cookies at all. Nothing is stored in your browser. Your system light/dark preference is read from your operating system setting and is never recorded by us.

Where it is stored, and for how long

Submissions are stored in a database on a dedicated server we control, provided by our hosting provider Hostinger. Access is restricted to the people at LeadLab who respond to enquiries.

Web server access logs, which include IP addresses, are kept for a rolling window and then overwritten automatically.

We keep demo requests while a conversation is live, and for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, so we have context if you come back to us. After that they are deleted. You can ask us to delete yours sooner and we will.

Who else sees it

Our hosting provider necessarily processes the data as part of running the server. Aside from that, nothing on this website sends your information to a third party. There is no third-party form service, no analytics provider, no advertising network, and no chat widget. Web fonts are served from our own server rather than a font host, specifically so that loading this page does not tell anyone else that you visited it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable form. If you are in the EU or UK you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority. If you are in California, you have the right to know what we collect and to ask us to delete it, and we do not sell personal information.

To exercise any of these, contact us through the form. We will not charge you and we will not make you justify the request.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS only. The server accepts administrative connections by cryptographic key only. Passwords are disabled. It runs a firewall that exposes only the ports needed to serve the site. The application that receives form submissions runs as an unprivileged account, is not reachable from the internet directly, and can write to nothing but its own database.

No system is perfectly secure and we will not claim otherwise. If you find a security problem with this site, please tell us through the form and we will act on it.

About the LeadLab platform

This policy covers the website only. The LeadLab platform is governed by its own terms and by a data processing agreement covering how business contact data is handled on behalf of clients, because that is a materially different question from "what happens to a demo request". We will not quietly extend this policy to cover it. Ask us for the platform terms and we will send them.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If a change materially affects information you have already given us, we will contact you about it rather than relying on you re-reading this page.
